We are seeking an inspiring and creative Head of Art to join a successful secondary school in Ealing from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Art teacher or current middle leader to take the next step in their career, leading a vibrant department and fostering a love of creativity across the school.

The Role
As Head of Art, you will:

Lead, manage, and develop the Art curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5

*

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire creativity and artistic expression

*

Promote a culture of high achievement and creativity within the department

*

Organise exhibitions, displays, and enrichment opportunities to celebrate student work

*

Monitor student progress and drive attainment through effective assessment and intervention

*

Support and develop members of the Art department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level

*

Experience in a leadership role or the ambition to step into one

*

A strong track record of improving student outcomes

*

Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills

*

A passion for Art and creative education
