Caretaker/Site Assistant

Location: HampshireRole Type: Temporary – potentially permanentSalary: £14-15 per hour

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Site Assistants to join us on a temporary basis to fulfil day to day and long-term roles within local Primary, Secondary and Specialist schools across Hampshire. There are potential permanent opportunities available for this position.

What is the day-to-day of the role?

• Ensuring the site remains safe and secure
• General maintenance and small repairs
• Referring large-scale matters appropriately
• Keeping the school safe and clear of hazards
• Working alongside Site Management
• Ensuring safe practice and policy is adhered to

What experience do you need for this role?

• Prior experience as a school site assistant is desirable
• Alternative experience includes Carpentry, Maintenance, plumber, tradespeople, or similar is essential

Please also note: Site Assistants work all year around rather than a term-time rota.
