A Local Authority in Swindon is seeking an experienced Highways Flood and Drainage Engineer to support the delivery of its duties as the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) and SuDS Approval Body (SAB).
Key Responsibilities:

* Provide specialist technical input to fulfil LLFA and SAB statutory responsibilities.

* Assess, review and approve drainage designs linked to planning applications.

* Design and deliver minor drainage improvement schemes to address local flooding and network issues.

* Offer expert technical advice to internal teams, developers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

* Extensive experience in highways drainage, flood risk management and SuDS design.

* Strong understanding of LLFA/SAB processes, relevant legislation and industry standards.

* Ability to independently manage workloads and deliver high-quality technical approvals
