Mobile Plant Fitter - Up to £40,000 + Van + Benefits
Location: Walsall (with national travel to customer sites)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Join a dynamic and growing operations team as a Mobile Plant Fitter, responsible for the repair, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of plant equipment. You'll work independently across multiple sites, delivering an efficient and customer-focused service.
What You'll Do
*
Service and repair plant equipment on-site and in the workshop
*
Attend breakdowns and complete scheduled maintenance
*
Maintain accurate records of work, parts used, and time spent
*
Manage van stock and raise purchase requests as needed
*
Liaise directly with customers and ensure clear communication throughout
*
Support depot operations and maintain excellent health & safety standards
What You'll Need
*
Experience as a Plant Fitter/Engineer (essential)
*
Strong communication and record-keeping skills
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Full UK Driving Licence
*
(Desirable: NVQ or City & Guilds in plant maintenance, CSCS card, forklift licence)
