Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading, award winning marketing agency in the recruitment of a Social Media Account Manager.

They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic new team member to join their award-winning Marketing and Communications Team. You will join as an individual who is organised, a great communicator, and experienced across social media marketing. You will be a valued member of a team behind one of Yorkshire's most successful ethical marketing agencies.

The role is diverse, varied and flexible and will require experience working in a creative environment and delivering innovative projects with key outputs. You will manage various projects primarily relating to social media marketing and will have experience in managing multiple accounts/campaigns at any given time while delivering best practices and working to a high standard.

The role requires strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to work to strict deadlines. You will be self-sufficient, mature and able to confidently take the lead with clients.

The successful candidate will also enjoy coming up with ideas, solving problems, achieving results and having some commercial understanding.

Skills and competencies

You will ideally have agency experience and a proven track record of designing and delivering social media marketing while working well with other team members. They are looking for someone who is hardworking, creative, a great communicator and passionate about the work we do. All whilst having a hunger to learn and gain further experience in running diverse projects for clients spanning all aspects of marketing and communications.

The successful candidate will have robust experience and understanding of the following:

* Social media content and planning - take a creative approach to plan, write and craft organic monthly calendar posts across all social media platforms, in a variety of tones of voice. Copywriting skills for social media are essential.

* Content creation - oversees asset design and creation working with designers, animators and videographers to produce content based on clear briefs. Canva experience is useful but not essential.

* Paid ads management - supports wider marketing and communications team to craft, implement and monitor paid social ad campaigns across Meta (including Facebook and Instagram), Snapchat, Twitter and Tiktok.

* Reporting and implementation - responsible for social media organic and paid reporting and proactive in approach to evaluation and implementing improvements to ongoing contracts.

* Developing client relationships - confident in working directly with clients, taking and interpreting briefs and building positive and fruitful relationships.

* Influencer campaign management - work alongside account managers to create engaging and creative Influencer campaigns, including the ability to research, negotiate, brief and manage final outputs.

* Project management - works to support wider marketing and communications team on broader marketing and communications projects, including support with integrated campaigns, planning and booking media. This might also include overseeing smaller projects such as animations and design projects.
