PPM Engineer | London & South East | Commercial Environments | NO call out rota | £37-40K Base - OTE 50-60K per annum | Permanent role with Company Van provided.

Due to increased demand in planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across our commercial clients, we are actively recruiting for a PPM Engineer to carry out Emergency Light Testing, Tap Temperatures, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing), Fire Alarm Tests, Fire Extinguisher servicing and similar duties.

The PPM Engineer will be working on a mobile basis across London & South East regions, working within commercial environments such as retail stores, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and similar buildings. Due to the nature of the environments and operating times, working hours for the PPM Engineer will involve 9 hour paid working days but may vary in start times, any hours that are deemed "unsociable" or over 9 hours would be paid as overtime. Due to the schedule of works and flexibility requirement, the PPM Engineer will NOT be included in the company call out rota.

Package Summary:

* Status: Permanent, PAYE - Paid Weekly

* Job Title: PPM Engineer

* Duties: Emergency Light Testing, Tap Temperatures, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing), Fire Alarm Tests, Fire Extinguisher servicing and similar duties.

* Base Salary: £37,000-£40,000

* OTE: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

* Provided: Company van, fuel card, uniform, phone.

* Package: 29 days paid annual leave, company pension, paid overtime available.

* Overtime rates: x1.5 rate until midnight, x2 rate between 00:00-06:00 or anytime Sundays and bank holidays.

* Travel time: Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way to/from first & last job, also no deductions for lunch break.

* Hours: Contracted 08:30am - 5:30pm, however dependant on demand, hours will be flexible, ie: 06:00am-3:00pm 07:00am-4:00pm etc. Some night works will also be required in which you will be paid x2 rate for and receive 12 hours downtime from when you finish.

Requirements:

* Must have experience carrying out PPM duties listed above within commercial environments.

* Certificates in PAT Testing and 18th edition would be highly preferable.

* Must have a UK driving license with under 9 points.
