Overview
We are representing a well-established and reputable M&E contractor who are seeking an experienced M&E Contract Manager to join their London operations. The company delivers projects across the commercial, healthcare, education and data centre sectors, with a strong reputation for quality, client relationships and repeat business.

This position offers a balanced portfolio of responsibility, overseeing 3-4 live projects with Project Managers reporting into you.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone currently working as a Project Manager ready to step up, or an experienced Contract Manager looking for a more stable workload and improved work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of multiple projects running concurrently

Lead, mentor and support project managers and delivery teams

Maintain strong relationships with clients, supply chain and internal stakeholders

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards

Review design, technical submissions and project documentation

Drive commercial performance including forecasting, variations and cost tracking

Attend progress meetings and represent the company professionally

Support procurement strategies and oversee supply chain compliance

Promote best practice, continuous improvement and strong team culture

Requirements

Strong background in managing M&E projects with a contractor

Experience in one or more of the following sectors: commercial, healthcare, education or data centres

Ability to manage teams across multiple live sites

Good technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services

Strong commercial awareness and reporting ability

Confident communicator with client-facing experience

Leadership mindset, organised and proactive
