Town Planner

Location: Bristol

Salary: Up to £60k + Package

I am currently working with a UK Leading Housebuilder seeking a Planner to join their growing team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established company who offer a rewarding career with excellent benefits.

As Planner, you will be responsible for gaining planning permissions for land suitable for new developments that align with the companies regional growth and delivery plans.

As Planner, you will be responsible for:

* Identifying potential new sites that can be passed on to the Development team

* Carry out site appraisals - keeping in mind planning policies, planning history and technical constraints

* Attend Committee meetings and provide reports

* Checking planning agreements and drawings

* Monitoring planning applications and maintaining reports

As Planner, you will be expected to:

* Previously worked for a housebuilder or within the public sector

* Have experience of planning permissions, appeals, negotiation and approval processes

* Be RTPI qualified

* HNC in Property / Construction related field (minimum)

* Ideally have a Degree in Planning / Town or Urban Planning / Urban Design

The successful Planner will receive:

* Up to £60k basic salary
