Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Bury
Daily Rate: £103.95-£110
Start Date: ASAP or following your notice period

About the Role

As a Level 2 TA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation and delivery of learning activities

Providing tailored support to pupils, including those needing additional help

Leading small group interventions and reinforcing key learning objectives

Supporting behaviour management in line with school policies

Helping maintain an organised, safe and inclusive classroom environment

Contributing to the wider school community and supporting break/lunchtime supervision as required

This role suits someone confident in supporting learning, able to build positive relationships, and committed to helping pupils achieve their best.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Has experience working with children, ideally within a school setting

Demonstrates strong communication, patience and a proactive attitude

Can work collaboratively as part of a team and use initiative when needed

Understands safeguarding responsibilities and ensures pupils' welfare at all times

Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
