Work Pattern: Monday - Friday | 08:45am - 17:00pm

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Housing Assistant to join a busy Housing Management team. This role is vital in providing frontline support to tenants and assisting in the smooth delivery of housing services. You will play a key part in maintaining excellent service standards and supporting the team's wider objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for customers on all Housing Management matters
Provide administrative support to the Housing Management team
Engage in daily contact with tenants and their representatives regarding tenancy conditions and issues
Assist with advice and information on tenancy breaches, anti-social behavior, and rent arrears
Manage Right to Buy and Mutual Exchange cases, including property inspections
Maintain and allocate waiting lists for garages and sites
Support new tenants through the sign-up process
Compile papers for legal action when necessary
Ensure high standards of health and safety and promote equality and diversity
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in a customer service or housing management environment
Knowledge of tenancy agreements and housing policies is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently
Commitment to continuous improvement and excellent service delivery
