Are you experienced in engineering, supply chain coordination, or subcontract management within the shipbuilding or marine engineering sectors? Our client, a leading equipment supplier into major naval and commercial shipbuilding programmes, is looking for a Technical Projects & Supply Chain Coordinator to join them on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing suppliers, coordinating commercial and technical information, and keeping complex engineering projects moving smoothly through the process.

The Role
•    Manage existing subcontracts and supplier relationships.
•    Prepare and issue RFPs, support bids, and coordinate commercial and technical inputs.
•    Track deliverables, documentation and Vendor Furnished Information (VFI).
•    Handle change orders, variations, payment milestones and supplier claims.
•    Expedite drawings, data, certificates, compliance documents, and equipment.
•    Support logistics, import/export administration, and delivery scheduling.
•    Work closely with engineering teams to resolve technical questions and maintain progress.
•    Coordinate responses to client queries and ensure smooth flow of information.
•    Maintain project trackers and highlight risks or delays early.
About You
•    Experience in shipbuilding, engineering, defence, or similar technical supply chain environments.
•    Strong understanding of procurement, subcontract management or commercial coordination.
•    Comfortable reviewing technical information and working with engineering teams.
•    Knowledge of import/export processes and logistics administration.
•    Highly organised, proactive and confident liaising with multiple suppliers.
•    Proactive, detail-driven, and able to take ownership of tasks.
