We are looking for two practicing clinicians to join our Clinical Informatics profession and work alongside a multi-disciplinary clinical team who are supporting a number of Live Services including; Summary Care Record, NHS Mail, IM1, Health and Justice Information Services and Spine mini services.
Candidates must have experience working as a senior clinician and in using or implementing digital healthcare technology. We are looking for someone who has maintained their clinical practice and would like to continue to do so alongside working for us.
This opportunity is available on a job share / part time basis on a fixed-term contract for 24 months. Secondments will also be considered.
About the role:
You will provide up to date expert advice and clinical input, ensuring there is a clinical safety culture across Live Services. You will establish effective relationships with business areas, managers and other key stakeholders.
The role is in a fast-paced environment and you will need to manage your own varied workload which will include:
- Clinical assurance and governance of products and services ensuring safe and effective patient care.
- Carry out clinical risk assessments, incident investigation and provide support to ensure a clinical safety culture and lessons are learnt.
- Product Roadmap prioritization.
- Stakeholder engagement with key stakeholders, including commissioners, Royal Colleges and BMA
