Our client is looking for an experienced, hands-on Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team within a fully staffed, high-calibre private residence in London. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a positive, well-structured team.

This is a multi-level residence with extensive facilities, requiring a Head Housekeeper who is extremely organised and very committed. This role manages daily housekeeping, leadership of the wider housekeeping team, and ensuring the household is always presented to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department
• Allocate daily tasks, oversee workloads and ensure consistency across shifts
• Undertake and oversee daily cleaning, polishing, dusting, hoovering and mopping of all areas
• Manage household inventories, ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
• Assist with household administration including shopping, gift purchasing and wrapping
• Work closely with the House Manager and other department heads to ensure smooth daily operations

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Head Housekeeper or senior Housekeeper within a HNW or UHNW private household or luxury hospitality setting
• A natural leader with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
• Highly organised, proactive and confident managing both people and processes
• Discreet, trustworthy and deeply respectful of privacy and confidentiality
• Calm, adaptable and solutions-focused within a dynamic household environment
• A team player who leads with professionalism, warmth and authority

Schedule – 5 days a week, 9 hours per day however flexibility is required with some weekend cover on rotation. This is a permanent role and salary is dependent upon experience.
