Financial Accountant | Luxury Retail - Head office | London | Hybrid | £55,000 - £60,000

An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a Global luxury listed business. This is a permanent role based in their luxury head offices in central London. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who is looking for a long-term career in a large business.

Sat within the 40+ strong finance team and reporting into the Financial Reporting Manager your role will be supporting the team with BAU duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports and assist with statutory reporting
• Ensure reporting is completed in line with group requirements
• Act as the first point of contact for financial reporting issues e
• Assist with monthly consolidation process
• Liaise with auditors
• Prepare adhoc reports
• Contribute to group wide finance projects

Key Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualification essential
• At least 1 year of post qualified experience within month end technical reporting
• Prior experience of preparing statutory accounts to UKGAAP and IFRS
• Previous experience working within mining or with natural resources would be advantageous

This role would suit someone who is naturally thorough with a great knowledge of technical accounting and good communication skills.
