An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join a successful and well-respected primary school in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent post, ideal for an experienced teacher or a confident Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to make a meaningful impact in Key Stage 2.

Role Responsibilities:

Teach a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.

Plan, assess and report in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum and school policies.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, resilience and high expectations.

*

Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor and track pupil progress effectively.

Contribute to the development of the wider curriculum and the school's commitment to enrichment and creativity.

Work closely with parents, carers and colleagues to support every child's academic and personal development.

*

Take part in staff training, school improvement initiatives and extracurricular activities.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

*

Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly the expectations in Year 4.

*

Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that are inclusive and differentiated.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

*

A team-oriented approach and willingness to contribute to wider school life.
