About the Company

A dynamic, award-winning architecture studio is seeking a motivated and experienced Architect to join its central Cardiff team. In this role, you will lead full-lifecycle construction projects across a broad and meaningful portfolio- spanning education, commercial, blue-light, and industrial sectors- while contributing to a collaborative, socially responsible practice that champions innovation, integrity, and sustainable design.

Lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through to completion
Manage project teams, coordinating internal staff and external consultants to achieve high-quality results
Produce technical drawings, construction documentation, and detailed design information
Develop architectural models and design proposals using Revit
Work confidently with a variety of procurement methods, including traditional and design & build
Guide projects throughout the RIBA Plan of Work stages, ideally from inception to contract administration
Ensure all project work complies with relevant legislation, contracts, building codes, and building regulationsIdeal Candidate

Several years of post-qualification experience, including leadership responsibilities on architectural projects
Strong design skills supported by robust technical knowledge of construction and detailing
Proficient in Revit with good BIM awareness
Experience delivering projects via both traditional and design & build procurement routes
Excellent client-facing abilities and strong commercial awareness
A collaborative team player with proven motivation, delegation, and people-management skills
Ideally experienced across all RIBA Plan of Work stages
In-depth understanding of regulations, contracts, and industry standards
