Structural Design Engineer

Peace Recruitment are supporting a leading design team on building structures in Glasgow and are seeking a Structural Design Engineer on a contract basis.

🔹 Contract: Outside IR35 (Ltd Co)
🔹 Rate: Up to £40 per hour (DOE)
🔹 Location: Glasgow & Edinburgh (hybrid: office + WFH)
🔹 Projects: Building structures

Experience

* Proven buildings experience using Tekla Structural Designer day-to-day.

* Structural analysis and design of frames and elements in Tekla Structural Designer.

* Produce calculations/notes; support drawings/mark-ups.

* Coordinate with architects/MEP and respond to design/site queries.

* Solid grasp of Eurocodes/UK NAs, stability, and foundations.

* Ability to run your own work to deadlines in a hybrid setup.

* (Nice to have) Experience with refurb/alterations, Tekla Tedds/Revit
