This exciting Secondary Drama Teacher vacancy available for a long-term position is the perfect opportunity to join a highly desirable secondary school in the Stockport area.
Are you a lover of performing arts? As a passionate Drama Teacher are you able to foster a love of theatre and performing among young people?
This Drama position will teach a variable timetable of Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 class groups. You will be required to plan lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
This Ofsted 'Good' school caters for over 100 students and is built on a foundation of high expectations of both staff and students. High expectations not only of behaviour and achievement but also that their students act as good role models both inside and outside of the school.
Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs
To be considered for this Drama Teacher role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Strong subject knowledge of the Drama curriculum including the new GCSE

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
