Treasury Operations Manager | Derbyshire | Full-time
Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to be partnering with a high-growth, high-impact Retail/FMCG business. This is a company that rewards ambition and encourages innovation at every level.
As the business continues to scale across the UK and Europe, we’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Treasury Operations Manager to take the lead on day-to-day treasury activities, drive improvements across cash and liquidity processes, and help shape a treasury function fit for the future.
This is a role where you'll have genuine ownership — not just of treasury operations, but also of your career development. You'll work closely with the Finance Director and other senior leaders, gaining valuable exposure and insight while playing a visible role in supporting key business decisions. There’s clear opportunity here for progression, particularly for someone eager to evolve into a broader leadership role within finance.
What You’ll Be Responsible for:You’ll lead the cash and treasury operations across a complex and fast-moving environment, managing multiple banking relationships, improving forecasting processes, and supporting financial decision-making with timely, accurate insights.
Alongside day-to-day cash management and reconciliations, you'll also play a key part in shaping how the treasury function runs — streamlining processes, strengthening controls, implementing new systems, and leading a small team with energy and clarity.
You’ll be the go-to person for all things treasury, and a key contributor when it comes to strategic planning around cashflow, funding, and risk.
What We're Looking For:We’re after someone who combines strong technical ability with a practical, hands-on mindset. Ideally, you’ll bring experience from a retail, FMCG or other high-transaction environment, and feel comfortable operating in a business that moves quickly and expects results.
You’ll Ideally Have:
- Proven experience in treasury or financial operations, with a sound understanding of cashflow and liquidity management
- Some leadership experience – whether that's line management or mentoring – and a desire to build and develop a capable team
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems (such as D365, Dream, or Navision), with strong Excel skills and an analytical approach
- Familiarity with retail payment systems and reconciliation processes
- Qualifications like ACT or CTP would be an advantage, but not essential if you bring the right practical experience
Why this role? This is a role where you’ll have real scope to make a difference — both to the function you lead and your own career. The business has a clear appetite for change and isn’t afraid to back great people. You’ll be recognised for what you deliver, supported by a leadership team that values initiative, and surrounded by peers who are passionate about what they do.
If you're looking for a visible, high-impact treasury role with the backing of a dynamic leadership team, we'd love to hear from you.
