Civil EngineerWigan£30,000 - £45,000#removed#We are looking for a solid Civil Engineer to join a large, multi-discipline consultancy out of their Wigan office.The RoleAs an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure design solutions across a range of development projects. Working as part of a collaborative design team, you will contribute to the technical delivery of schemes from initial concept through to detailed design and approval.This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression within a supportive consultancy environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare highway and drainage designs in accordance with agreed engineering strategies.
  • Support the negotiation of technical approvals for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278 agreements, etc.).
  • Ensure designs comply with current Codes of Practice and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Undertake highway design, ground modelling, and external levels design (including Part M compliance).
  • Carry out drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & ExperienceEssential:
  • 2+ years industry experience
  • Degree or HNC qualified in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Highway design and ground modelling
    • Drainage design and hydraulic modelling
    • Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
Ideally you would have experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD, PDS/Flow.In return:
