Job Title: Senior Field Engineer

Salary: £30K plus

Job Description

Datacentre Senior Field Engineer servicing the UK and Europe.  This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Server Engineer to join an expanding and exciting company. The successful candidate will work closely with the projects team, coordinating and delivering field migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Onsite physical server installatations
• Onsite commissioning of servers, switches and routers
• Cabling & prepping of DC enviroments
• Auditing customer existing environment producing extensive Audit reports
• Conducting customer site surveys, providing pre sales information including recommendations and highlighting risks
• Assisting the projects team with scoping and planning to ensure delivery success
• Maintain good communication with clients and colleagues
• Client liaison including meetings, Teams and conference calls  

Key Skills

• Installation of Datacente IT equipment essential
• Network cabling experience
• Structured cabling diserable
• Advance Microsoft skills
• Client meetings, Teams/conference calls experince
• Good trouble shooting skills
• Use of own iniative
• Execellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to demonstrate initiative and professionalism
• Communicates fluently, orally and in writing
• Able to work collaboratively
• Clean driving license
