Futures recruitment are looking to appoint an Electrical maintenance engineer for a manufacturing client of ours based in Halifax. Our client are a well known business renown for their staff retention, great working environment and development opportunities within. This is a great opportunity for an Electrical maintenance engineer to work on a reactive basis and to a ppm schedule on a variety of machines. You need previous experience working in a fast paced, deadline focused manufacturing plant with highly automated equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Conduct and complete planned maintenance
* Ensure fault reporting is clear and precise
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding to increase OEE and reduce downtime
* Be able to accurately estimate the time frame of activity

Skills & Qualifications:

* Working knowledge of PLCs, motor invertors and relay-controlled equipment
* Minimum 5 years' practical FMCG experience

* HNC/HND qualified with time served apprenticeship in electrical engineering
* PLC knowledge for fault finding and repair
* Pneumatic/Hydraulic fault finding for fully automated machinery an advantage
