Advantage Resourcing is currently seeking production line workers for an Abilene based, healthy lifestyle company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Working in the packet room, production room, warehouse, blending or pre-scale in wherever you are needed.
•Scoop product from super sacks, packing product into case, inspection of seals, placing lids on tubs, placing security seals on tubs, placing sleeves on tubs, adding scoops to product, palletizing product, washing equipment per SSOP’s, mopping, sweeping, general warehouse duties, moving product from one facility to another.
•Degreasing equipment, rinsing and sanitizing production equipment
•Responsible for communicating effectively with supervisor as well as coworkers in a positive and effective way
•Any and all other required job functions deemed by management
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A High School Diploma or GED is required. 1-3 years’ experience in Food Science or related field is preferred. This position requires you to have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals and operating & technical instructions. Ability to write clearly on all documentation.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding in following instructions furnished in written, oral and/or diagram form as well as the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time. This position could require you to bend and/or stoop on occasion while performing various tasks. This position is sedentary in nature but could require walking and climbing stairs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires working in an air conditioned warehouse that has moving forklifts and the noise level in the warehouse environment is usually loud. If you are looking to join a local based company you do not want to miss out on this opportunity.
