Salary: Circa £50k inc. + 9% yearly bonus

Location: Brinsworth, South Yorkshire

Hours: Full time Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week

A world-leading industrial gases and engineering company require a SHEQ & Facilities Manager at their top tier COMAH site near Rotherham.

Key responsibilities include:

* In this role, you will provide support in developing systems and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements e.g. COMAH duties, process safety programmes, emergency preparedness, environmental regulations

* You will focus on the effective and sustainable implementation of SHEQ behaviours and SHEQ management systems (i.e. policy, standards, procedures, tools and processes) and also key improvement programmes relevant to businesses operating in the area (as per SHEQ improvement plans)

* In addition, you will provide independent support for the upper tier COMAH site assisting with the achievement of line ownership of the SHEQ agenda and the local implementation of effective process safety competence & to provide visible leadership of the SHEQ agenda

* You will be responsible for guiding and supporting, monitoring and reporting SHEQ & Facilities performance & plans for the site

* Furthermore, you will manage site facilities team & will be responsible for site infrastructure maintenance under landlord duties as well as site security

* And finally, you will look after the contractor management coordination & associated procurement activities. Including: Access control, firefighting equipment, emergency response equipment, first aid equipment, environmental equipment Monitoring & maintenance, spill kits

Requirements:

* You have an industry recognised Health & Safety qualification such as the NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)

* Experience in Upper tier COMAH site

* You will have a good understanding of legal compliance

* You have proven experience within a similar role engaging with multiple stakeholders

* Finally, you work with integrity, role modelling the behaviours aligned to being an inclusive workplace
