Job Title: Multi Trade OperativeLocation: Barking & DagenhamSalary: £19.32 per hour PAYE / £24.24 UmbrellaContract Type: Temporary Ongoing, 40 hours per week

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi Trade Operative to join the responsive maintenance team for a large Housing Association. You will carry out a variety of repairs, void works, and property MOTs across multiple trades, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs across primary and secondary trades
• Accurately record work using a PDA system
• Manage and replenish stock and materials
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Deliver first-time fixes and meet scheduled appointments
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• Supervise apprentices when required

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a core trade preferred
• Proven experience in building maintenance and multi-trade work
• Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to quality, safety, and customer service
• Full, clean driving license (maximum 3 points)
• Own tools must be provided
