We're currently supporting a fantastic opportunity for a Product Development Technologist to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business based in Bedfordshire.

This is a key role within the Product Development team, focused on delivering innovative product development, recipe improvement, and exciting new product launches across multiple customer accounts, both UK and internationally.

The Role:

* Full end-to-end product and recipe development aligned to internal and external briefs.

* Scaling recipes and preparing samples for evaluation and customer presentations.

* Innovating and researching new ideas, concepts, and improvements.

* Supporting factory trials and writing detailed cooking instructions.

* Ensuring raw material compliance and availability in production regions.

* Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the region.

* Creating product application sheets and managing product documentation.

* Attending customer meetings and supporting client presentations.

What You'll Need:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a product development role within the food industry.

* Passion for innovation, detail, and delivering results under pressure.

* Great communicator with strong sensory and presentation skills.

* Self-motivated and confident in a customer-facing role.

* Flexibility to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Multilingual skills (French, German, Turkish, or Russian) are desirable but not essential
