Part-Time HR Manager - Birmingham (30 hours per week)
We're working with a fast-growing UK-based business that specialises in the design, sourcing, and distribution of home hardware products. With a strong footprint in ecommerce and direct-to-consumer retail, they're known for combining traditional product excellence with modern operational agility.
As part of their continued growth, they're hiring a Part-Time HR Manager to help shape the people strategy and foster a positive, performance-led culture. This role is ideal for someone looking to work flexibly while still playing a pivotal role in a high-performing SME.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning day-to-day HR operations and acting as the first point of contact for people-related matters.
- Supporting managers across recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance.
- Developing and refining internal policies, ensuring compliance with employment law.
- Advising leadership on HR best practices, organisational change, and culture-building initiatives.
What they're looking for:
- Strong generalist HR experience - ideally within a small-to-mid-sized commercial environment.
- Someone confident working autonomously in a standalone HR role.
- A proactive mindset with excellent communication and people skills.
- CIPD Level 5+ would be ideal but not essential.
The details:
- £40,000 FTE (pro-rata to approx. £30,000 for 30 hours)
- Hybrid role - based at their Birmingham HQ 1-2 days per week
