Mechanical Estimator

A growing M&E contractor with a strong reputation across the South of England is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to support its expanding pre‑construction team. The company delivers full mechanical and electrical packages across commercial, industrial, education, leisure, and public‑sector projects, with a focus on quality, collaboration, and long‑term client partnerships.

Responsibilities

Review tender documents and define mechanical scope.

Prepare detailed mechanical estimates and take‑offs.

Source and assess supplier/subcontractor quotations.

Support design coordination and technical clarifications.

Produce tender submissions and handover documentation.

Maintain pricing databases and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

Mechanical estimating experience within M&E/building services.

Strong understanding of HVAC and public health systems.

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Good communication and commercial awareness.

Relevant technical qualification preferred.
