Job responsibilities:

Develop technical documents in line with the client requirements to the industry standard using technical features, diagrams and language.

*

To support electrical installation planning, commissioning and final acceptance testing.

*

Provide support to the Project Managers and Head of Automation across multiple projects at one time.

*

Develop functional design specifications

*

Develop device lists

*

To visit customer sites as and when required to ensure projects are progressing to the set milestones and maintain customer relations.

The successful Automation Project Engineer will have a background in and able to demonstrate skills in the following:

*

Electrical / Controls

*

Conveyors, Robotics or Automotive

*

AutoCAD layouts - converting mechanical layouts into controls layout.

Problem solving, solution generation with cost justification
