We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our property team of our client based near Oakhampton. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing health and safety across a large and diverse estate.
The Role
As Health & Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving health and safety standards across the estate, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
The estate includes a broad mix of environments, such as:
- Laboratories
- Office buildings
- Farms and rural properties
- Additional mixed-use properties across the estate
Key Responsibilities
- Providing competent health and safety advice across the estate
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and guidance
- Managing and reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Supporting laboratory health & safety compliance
- Undertaking site inspections, audits and investigations
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation
About You
You will be a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety professional with experience working across varied property types.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Experience advising on health & safety in property-related environments
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
