HR Administrator (Part Time)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to join our HR team based in the Cambridge Science Park. We will be moving to our brand new site in Northstowe early next year.

The HR Administrator will be working closely with the Head of HR and the rest of the HR team to deliver a first-class service to all our employees. You will be working on the full employee life cycle - from recruitment to departure and everything in between.

Salary: up to £23,000 per annum (plus annual pay review and bonus scheme)

Main Responsibilities for the HR Administrator:

· Providing a first-class customer service to our employees and managers, responding in a professional and helpful manner; triaging and escalating queries as required

· Provide end-to-end HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle

o Create all necessary paperwork regarding the employee life cycle (starter pack, leavers, changes).

o Manage recruitment and manage onboarding process

o Maintain and update the HR system and employee files, ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date

o Manage Offboarding process

o Support training and development process

o Absence Management process

o Note taking in HR meetings as required

o Manage Annual Appraisal process

o Administration of company benefits

o Manage HR mailbox

· Ensures all work is carried out within employment legislation requirements and HR best practice.

· Maintains confidentiality at all times, adhering to GDPR legislation.

· Support Head of HR on projects

· Any other duties as requested

Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

· Previous experience in HR/Administration

· Previous experience using a Time and attendance and/or HR system

· Knowledge and understanding of data protection

· Confident with all Microsoft packages

· Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information

· Highly organised and attention to details

· Have a proactive approach, and flexibility to provide support when needed

· Team player

· Self-motivated and use of own initiative

Desirable

· A working knowledge of employment and legislation.

· A relevant HR / CIPD qualification

· Adaptable and able to prioritise

· Flexible approach to workload demands
