Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Civil Section Engineer on behalf of reputable large civil engineering contractor for a flagship project in East Yorkshire area...

The project is a key piece of infrastructure to Humberside (c. £100m value), providing much better traffic links & improvement to travel across the region. A large highways scheme consisting of: new bypass, junction improvements, RC structures/bridges etc.

Duties as Section Engineer:

* Responsible for leading the daily delivery of a section of works

* Mentoring Site Engineers and Graduate Engineers in their work

* Checking of work on site

* Producing permits for crane pads & other site works

* Manage sub-contractors & coordinate daily activities

* Quality Assurance / Inspection Test Plans

* Complex setting out - as needed

Experience Required:

* Must have experience working as Section Engineer for a principal civil engineering contractor.

* Must have experience working as Site Engineer / Section Engineer on large civil engineering projects (£20m+).

* Must have experience on projects covering: highways & structures.

* Ideally will have an industry related qualification (HNC/HND or Bachelor's/Master's Degree).

Remuneration:

Up to £50,000 (dependent on experience) alongside a generous package including:
