Sefton Council is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Personal Advisor to join their Leaving Care Service, supporting young people aged 16+ as they transition from care to independent living.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a person-centred role where you'll build lasting relationships and make a real difference in the lives of care leavers across Sefton, Merseyside, and the wider North West region.

Your Role Will Include:
🔹 Providing advice, guidance, and support to young people leaving care
🔹 Assisting with accommodation, education, training, and life skills
🔹 Developing Pathway Plans in line with statutory responsibilities
🔹 Advocating for young people and linking them to relevant services

What We're Looking For:
✅ Experience working with care-experienced young people
✅ Strong communication and organisational skills
✅ Ability to build trust and positive relationships
✅ Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance (e.g. Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000)
