Job Title: HR Advisor (MAT Cover)

Location: Nuneaton

Salary: £16,514.86 - 20 hours a week

About the Role

My client is currently looking for a HR advisor for MAT cover. The HR advisor will be responsible for all employees across two sites of Nuneaton & Hinckley. They are looking for somebody proactive and approachable to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert advice to managers and staff on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretations.
Payroll
Recruitment
Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes.
Maintain HR data in the HRIS, ensure records are accurate, and statistics are up to date.
Review, develop, and update HR policies in line with UK/EMEA employment law and best practice.
Support learning & development needs: identify skill gaps, coordinate training programmes, and coach employees.
Conduct exit interviews, analyse turnover trends, and recommend retention strategies.
Administration for employee benefits
Arranging employee events throughout the year.

Skills required:
Level 3 CIPD required/Level 5 Desirable
Proficient in Microsoft excel
Previous use of ADP payroll desirable
