About the Role

Our client is one of the UK’s fastest growing companies within the Financial Services sector. They help thousands of UK businesses grow, and now they’re looking for a motivated, organised and people-focused individual to join as a Trainee Collections Specialist.

You don’t need experience in credit control - just a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a desire to learn. Full training will be provided.

In this role, you’ll:

• Speak with business customers by phone and email to arrange payment of invoices.
• Help manage client accounts, keeping information accurate and up to date.
• Support the wider finance and relationship management teams.
• Get involved in monitoring credit and helping to manage risk.
• Build strong relationships with clients, resolving queries quickly and professionally.

What we’re looking for:

• Confident, friendly communicator - you enjoy building relationships.
• Organised and detail-focused - you take pride in getting things right.
• Good with numbers and problem solving.
• Eager to learn and start a long-term career in finance.
• Previous experience in customer service or admin is helpful but not essential.
