🎯 Role Overview

Join our growing sustainability team to support the delivery of BREEAM assessments for domestic and non‑domestic projects. This entry-level role offers clear progression, mentorship, and hands‑on experience under the guidance of senior assessors.

🧩 Responsibilities

*

Assist with BREEAM New Construction, In‑Use, and Refurbishment assessments at design and post‑construction stages

*

Gather and analyse data: energy use, water, materials, transport, ecology, waste, and health & well‑being

*

Support life cycle assessments and carbon footprinting

*

Prepare submissions to BRE (design stage review), including ZA reports

*

Conduct desktop energy and building performance modelling (IES‑VE / DesignBuilder or similar)

*

Coordinate with design teams: architects, engineers, contractors, QS

*

Maintain accurate records in BREEAM Projects and BRE Connect

*

Attend site inspections (post‑construction stages) with a senior assessor

*

Contribute to client deliverables: progress reports, scorecards, and presentation decks

🎓 Essential Qualifications

*

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in sustainability, building services, environmental design, or related field

*

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Some familiarity with BREEAM assessment process (e.g. coursework, internship)

Exposure to energy or lifecycle modelling
