Pastoral Lead - High Peak Area

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist educational setting in the High Peak area to recruit an experienced and compassionate Pastoral Lead.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, empathetic professional to play a key role in supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of students who require additional guidance to succeed in education.

The Role:

Leading on pastoral care, wellbeing, and behaviour support across the setting
Developing and implementing effective behaviour and support strategies
Supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
Working closely with teaching staff, external agencies, and families
Managing and mentoring support staff to ensure consistent pastoral approaches
Monitoring attendance, engagement, and student progress from a pastoral perspectiveThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience in a pastoral, safeguarding, or behaviour-focused role within education
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support others
A calm, resilient, and solution-focused approach
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
