Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a versatile and committed Cover Tutor to join a PRU in Basildon.

• Deliver lessons across multiple subjects using structured work packs.

• Subjects include:

  • Health and Social Care

  • Personal Growth and Wellbeing (PGW)

  • Entry Level Maths

  • ICT

  • Child Development

• Support students to complete coursework and assignments.

• Maintain engagement and behaviour in small group settings.

• Provide academic and pastoral support.

• Experience teaching or tutoring across multiple subjects.

• Comfortable delivering from prepared materials.

• Strong behaviour management skills.

• Experience in PRU, alternative provision or SEN settings preferred.

• Passionate about supporting vulnerable learners.
