With continued investment in innovation and quality, they are now seeking an experienced HSE Manager to drive their health, safety, and environmental agenda forward.

The Role

As HSE Manager, you will play a key leadership role, ensuring that robust HSE practices are embedded across their operations. You will lead on risk assessments, compliance, audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives—ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies in line with current legislation and industry best practice

* Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments

* Lead investigations into incidents and near-misses, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented

* Promote a culture of safety, ownership, and accountability at all levels

* Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and inductions

* Ensure environmental compliance, including waste management and sustainability initiatives

* Liaise with external stakeholders including regulatory bodies, insurers, and certification auditors

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience in a similar HSE role within the manufacturing/engineering industry

* Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation

* IOSH membership or NEBOSH qualification (desirable)

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
