CORE TASKS

• Supporting young people with education based activities as required by their course
• Providing young people with career focused and employability conversations
• Providing numeracy and literacy or English as an additional language support
• Adhering to administrative requirements of the role
• Being accountable and representing Centrepoint appropriately

ESSENTIAL

• Good levels of numeracy and literacy
• IT competent - able to use Microsoft Office including Microsoft Teams
• Ability to engage, motivate and inspire young people
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly with young people, other volunteers and staff
• Ability to remain calm when involved with challenging individuals and situations
• Be reliable and have a positive outlook
• A commitment to demonstrating Centrepoint’s values
