I am currently seeking a weekend Children Residential Support Worker to join an amazing children's service in Lancashire. You will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday days. The role comes with a great salary, bonus, benefits and great career development opportunities
You will be working with a dedicated care team, providing care and support to children who have faced a difficult start in life. Their needs are varied and include challenging behaviours, your support can have a positive impact on their future so this is a very rewarding role.
Your duties include:
* Supporting children in their daily lives
* Encouraging hobbies and activities
* Promoting independence and positive behaviour
* Working as part of a dedicated care team
* Working with families and outside agencies
The successful candidate will have the following:
* A willingness to complete NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
* Experience of working with children would be beneficial but not essential as full training and support is provided.
* A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
* Be caring, compassionate, understanding and show patience.
* Be a team player, flexible, honest and reliable.
