Pay: £115 - £125 per day

Long Term Futures are recruiting on behalf of a supportive and progressive secondary school, seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a long-term position, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role following a successful placement.

As a HLTA, you'll work closely with teaching staff to deliver learning activities, lead small groups or classes, and support pupils in achieving their full potential. You'll also take on a mentoring role with other support staff and play an active part in wider school life.

Job Requirements

HLTA qualification (or willingness to complete it within two years)
GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths - minimum Grade C/4
Previous experience working in a secondary school
Sound understanding of the national curriculum
Experience supporting pupils with SEND, EAL or behavioural needs
Confident using ICT to support learning and planning
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one What We're Looking For
