Enthusiastic Geography Teacher Wanted in Hammersmith! Collaborative Humanities Team

Our well-respected school in Hammersmith & Fulham is seeking an Enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our collaborative and supportive Humanities team. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire students to explore the complexities of our world and develop a strong understanding of geographical concepts and issues across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Location: Hammersmith & Fulham Role: Geography Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Salary: MPS/UPS

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and interactive Geography lessons covering a range of physical and human geography topics across Key Stages 3 and 4.

* Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking about global challenges.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching resources and strategies.

* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Geography.

* Potentially contribute to fieldwork and other extracurricular geographical activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.

* Degree in Geography or a related field.

* Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).

* A strong and current knowledge of geographical concepts, processes, and contemporary issues.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make geography relevant and engaging for students.

* A commitment to student-centered learning and promoting geographical literacy.
