Are you a Senior Design Engineer who thrives in a fast–paced engineering environment where precision, autonomy and technical leadership are front and centre? As a Senior Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative mechanical solutions, improving processes, and ensuring complex products meet strict cost, quality and regulatory expectations.

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will benefit from:

As a Senior Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading design activities to meet programme budgets, milestones and engineering gates
  • Ensuring all engineering outputs align with internal processes, quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinating daily reviews with engineering teams, providing guidance and technical direction
  • Leading troubleshooting and failure investigations when required
  • Producing qualification documents and supporting engineering change management
  • Driving improvements through lessons learned and operational excellence initiatives

As a Senior Design Engineer, your experience will include:

  • Experience across manufacturing and design processes
  • Strong development, problem-solving and technical leadership skills
  • Proven ability to deliver and report against KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills across multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong attention to detail with process-driven working
  • A degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant engineering apprenticeship (desirable)
