Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
Hours: Day Shift | Flexi Time System
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The Company

Our client is a leading precision engineering business based in Cheltenham, specialising in high-quality, technically demanding components for a range of industries. They are looking to add an experienced CNC Setter/Operator (Turning) to their growing team.

The Role

As a CNC Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce precision-engineered components to tight tolerances. You will work closely with production and quality teams to ensure output meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC lathes (Turning) to produce precision components
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Conduct first-off and in-process inspections to ensure quality compliance
Maintain machinery and ensure a safe, clean working environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production and delivery targets

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Turning)
Competent in reading engineering drawings
Experience with Fanuc controls
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Team player with good communication skills
