Import Specialist – Aerospace Logistics

Location: Feltham

Salary: £38,000 – £40,000

Monday – Friday | 09:00 – 17:30 (1 hour lunch)

The Role

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Import Specialist to join a growing aerospace-focused operation in Feltham.

This role will see you managing the end-to-end import of high-value aerospace components, ensuring full compliance with customs regulations, industry standards, and strict quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international imports of aerospace parts and materials
• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations and trade laws
• Prepare and review all import documentation (AWBs, invoices, packing lists, COO)
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays or clearance issues
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records
• Ensure all imports meet airworthiness and certification requirements
• Work closely with procurement, engineering, and quality teams

About You

• 3–5 years’ experience in import/export or freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and international trade regulations
• Experience working with freight forwarders and global suppliers
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

• Aerospace or manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of regulatory documentation and compliance standards
• Understanding of Incoterms
