We are supporting a local manufacturing company with the recruitment of a quality inspector working within a team environment this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn and develop further.

Duties for Quality Inspector

* Visual Inspection

* Dimensional work - use of Callipers, gauges, micrometres, and other hand-equipment

* Operation and programming of CMM and Planar (camera system for 2D measurement)

* Use of microscope

* Ability to write/update Work Instructions, issue Quality Alerts and other documents

* Control of non-conforming product, RCA, CAPA, 5Y, 8D

* First point of contact for Customer Concerns (with occasional visits, so needs to drive)

Personal skills and experience for Quality Inspector

* Previous experience in Quality inspection is essential ideally gained within a manufacturing environment.

* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Must be able to work on own initiative and be able to multitask is a prerequisite for the role.
