Our client A regional is offering an exciting opportunity for a Design Manager / Coordinator to join their team. The company focuses on Commercial projects across the Home Counties.

Strong pipeline of work secured for the foreseeable future they are expanding their team. Looking for a strong candidate from the Design background, Design Manager / Coordinator, from construction, preferably from commercial design.

The role:

* Coordinate design intent with internal teams, architects, and subcontractors

* Review drawings for accuracy, buildability, and spec compliance

* Manage drawing revisions, approvals, and document control

* Resolve technical challenges during design development

* Attend client/site meetings to ensure alignment between vision and execution

* Support procurement with accurate material/specification info

Key Responsibilities:

* Interpret client requirements and output specs

* Review and ensure compliance of design, procurement, and construction information

* Assist in developing design packages and procurement strategies in collaboration with the Site Manager/Preconstruction team

* Contribute to the Design Management Plan (DMP) and project documentation

* Prepare monthly activity reports for Design Management

Qualifications & Skills:

* Relevant qualifications in design, architectural

* Experienced Design Manager / Coordinator in construction

* Knowledge of the regulatory environment and the Design & Build process

* Proficient with related software's

* Ability to draft correspondence effectively
