I've partnered with a leading infrastructure, construction, and property services company, looking for you to join as their Environmental & Sustainability Manager. You will be providing specialist coaching, advice and training to drive, motivate and internal and external stakeholders to deliver compliance, best practice and promote continuous improvement.

Role responsibilities include:

• Establishing, implementing, maintaining the SHEQ management systems in line with ISO standards 14001 to ensure legal compliance and continual improvement
• Undertaking internal Environmental audits, to ensure compliance to IMS
• Leading and implementing the carbon capture platform for reporting and analysis
• Creating strategy for E&S with SHEQ Director and lead in its execution
• Supporting projects in the delivery of the company's Environmental and Sustainability strategy
• Providing appropriate Environmental input into the tender, bid and contract award process
• Providing advice and expertise on Environmental matters to the project teams to ensure the effectiveness of the Construction Phase Plans during the lifecycle of the project.
• Providing environmental & sustainability guidance towards meeting our targets, metrics and net zero drivers.
• Challenging existing working methods to incorporate Environmental good practice during both the design & construction phases without compromising business priorities
• Co-ordinating, developing & maintaining positive relationships with local stakeholders, the HSE, Local Authorities, Environmental Agency (EA)
• Providing monthly Environmental & Sustainability data, stats & trends to line management / teams as needed

The driving objective behind this is role to create, achieve and sustain high performing environmental & sustainability performance resulting in net zero and improved sustainability.

Key competencies include:

• Strong team player who can build effective relationships
• Good inter-personal skills with proven skills in coaching and motivating people
• Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all organisational levels (including Senior Managers)
• NEBOSH/IEMA Level 5 Environmental Management
• Lead Auditor 14001 and auditing experience in 9001/45001
• Experience within construction or a similar high-risk, project-orientated environment
• Full UK Driving Licence
