We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be expected to teach French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 to 5. The MFL department is dynamic and forward-thinking, with a collaborative team and a record of excellent outcomes. Applications are warmly welcomed from both ECTs and experienced MFL teachers.

Experience and Qualifications

Qualified MFL teacher with the ability to teach French and/or Spanish to GCSE and A-Level

*

A strong academic background in languages or a related subject

*

PGCE or QTS

*

A genuine enthusiasm for language learning and a commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

*

Eligible to work in the UK

Specific Responsibilities

*

Plan and deliver stimulating and inclusive lessons in French and/or Spanish

*

Monitor and assess student progress according to departmental and school policies

*

Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters a love of languages

*

Contribute to extra-curricular language activities and cultural enrichment

*

Maintain excellent communication with students, colleagues, and parents/carers

Salary
The successful candidate will be offered a salary in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS), depending on experience.
